If you are anything like us, the modern political landscape is an inescapable mess of emotional manipulation, flagrant ignorance and indifference, and rampant corruption. A bloated centralized authority masquerading as benevolent and philanthropic has been continuously abusing their powers and profiting off the people they claim to represent. And perhaps worst of all, vitriolic rhetoric and a growth polarization has resulted in a climate of anger, fear, and occasionally even violence.
We say enough is enough, and it is time for something new. Something focused on bringing politics back to its fundamentals. Something the contemporary American may look upon with pride. The American Contemporary is our political review show focusing on discussing current affairs, news, events, and learning from the fundamental perspective. With so many programs discussing the news, why might you choose to journey with us? Well, we believe we offer a unique alternative perspective, giving understanding to multiple viewpoints while analyzing optimal strategy. We try to get to the root of our issues, from foundational philosophy to both short and long-term solutions. And while politics is serious in many regards, we believe sensationalization is a major source of our modern problems. Therefore, we try to tackle our program with a sense of peace, because hearing the news should not cause anxiety, but rather should just inform.
